I am an artist, living and creating
in New York City, on the Upper West Side.
Around 2010, I discovered Zentangle, a deceptively simple way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. I completely embraced this method, and immediately incorporated it into my art, creating my own ZIAs (Zentangle-inspired art). I soon became a CZT (certified Zentangle teacher). My ZIAs have been included in two published books: Zen Doodle: Tons of Tangles; and 500 Tangled Artworks: A Showcase of Inspired Illustrated Designs.
In addition, I am an instructor of art for over 30 years, at the Art Students League of New York, and at St. Hilda's & St. Hugh's, an independent elementary school in Morningside Heights.
